Hi all
Thank you so much to all that came to sing at the Three Pariahes Fair today. You did a great job, especially considering the outdoor conditions. Many people said they enjoyed listening to us and one lady even said our diction was excellent!

Please note we will be doing a collection for Rob. We would like to give him a a gift from us all at the last rehearsal this year which is a social. If you would like to contribute, there will be a tin on the reception on Monday and the following two weeks.
See you Monday x

Hi All
The Three Parishes Summer fayre is Saturday 24th June from 11am to 5pm. We have been asked to sing from 1pm to 1.30pm. It is at Hazleton Farm nr Horndean

Please bring the following music to choir tomorrow so we can choose pieces to sing.

Simon & Garfunkel
Reluctant Dragon
Another opening Another Show
Little Shop of Horrors
Queen medley
No Matter What
Dream a Little Dream

We also need a home for our keyboard and speaker. Would anyone like to house it for us? You get the benefit of using it in your home but just need to be willing to arrange for its transport to venues when we need to use it.
Lou x
Thank You

  • Thank you Lou for your praise. I believe that all the choir members present enjoyed it and, when I walked around after our singing, I received choir praise from several people. As you say, the weather was kind to us as well, fortunately !!!

  • Hi Lou, Many thanks for taking on board the comments I made at the AGM about throwing some modern stuff into our mix. This is the song I told you about on Monday

    • Hi Julia
As you may have seen we have had a few new members joining us recently. Our numbers have dropped naturally over Christmas so I am happy to take new members now. We generally say come along to one rehearsal to see if you like us and then join during the first week of a new term. Do encourage Alice to come along.

  • Hi Lou,

Some 15 members of my family and friends attended our Concert with the Royal Marines Association Big Band in the Guildhall on the 20th December 2015. They all thoroughly enjoyed the show and they gave us some lovely comments. They said things like: ‘That was fantastic’, ‘You obviously enjoyed it’, ‘It was an Amazing Show’, ‘It was an Absolutely Brilliant Evening’, and ‘Even better than the last one!’. The Marines Drummer also got a lot of praise for his performance!

Here’s hoping we get to do another one.

A big ‘Thank you’ to you and Naomi,

    Mike Graham
