36 of us sang during the signing of the register at the beautiful wedding of Sally and James. What a lovely afternoon.
A lovely evening – proper BBQ weather!
“As the staging is removed and the stalls put away for another year the Waterlooville Music Festival 2013 has come to an end. You may like to know that just over 4,000 people attended the 48 concerts and events in St. George’s Church with hundreds more listening to the various performances around the town centre during Market Place Music on the first Saturday. It has been a great success and already plans are being made for next year’s Festival.
Thank you AChoired Taste for taking part in the Festival once again this year. It was a fantastic concert and I don’t know why it’s taken
so long to invite you back. I’ve already been asked to get you again for next year! Please pass on our thanks to all the choir members
and to Lou.”

All Saints Church, Catherington. 26 hymns in all, even some that no-one knew, but everyone earned the gorgeous desserts afterwards!
“Monday evening saw our final evening concert by our old favourite and much loved local choir AChoired Taste, with their fine repertoire of songs from the shows. We just managed to fit them all in but the great sound they produce is one of the best, as always a most enjoyable evening. They too gave us an extra treat by bringing along The Auster Quartet who were saxophonists and they produced a fine and melodious sound which was enjoyed by us all.” – quote from the Blendworth Parish Magazine.
Some members of AChoired Taste sang at Petersgate Infant School on Monday 17th December 2012 for the Hyden WI Christmas gathering.
AChoired Taste once again sang at the RNLI carol service in Portsmouth Cathedral on Sunday 9th December . Music included ‘This is the Day’ by John Rutter and ‘Sing we now of Christmas’ a traditional French carol arranged by John Leavitt.
Lou’s comments:
“Thank you to everyone who attended the RNLI carol service yesterday. A great afternoon as always and you sang beautifully – well done! xx”
