A few members of the choir sang at the Portsmouth RNLI station on Apr 2nd. This was as part of the naming ceremony for the station’s new D Class inshore lifeboat ” The Dennis Faro”. The new lifeboat is named in tribute to a former crew member for the part he played in saving 4 lives.
The RNLI members were very appreciative of the choir’s singing and to quote the launch controller
The service would not be the same without you
